When I acquire these I usually have an idea instantly. But I let them sit for a while. Letting color combinations simmer, and puzzling out the decorations. This one has blue Iridescence in the hair, and they have additional applied faceted decorations. I have a picture of her with her sister #3, with the pink iridescence, Each one is unique, as each vintage piece is unique depending on how/who made it. These were also commonly made copies of in ceramic shops. There is no template. It’s a good idea to clean these gently with a damp cloth. They don’t hold up to water and scrubbing. The surface is ephemeral. I may attempt making these eventually in ceramic from a mold and firing them instead of the acrylic paint for sturdiness. But for now, These are the firsts, as I find them, I come up with new ideas for them.
